Death of Madan Bhandari explained with Conspiracy Theories

Introduction:

Madan Bhandari was a prominent Nepali political leader belonging to the CPN (UML), a democratic communist party in Nepal. Bhandari is best known for his unflinching stance on nationalism and his ideological concept of People’s Multiparty Democracy, which advocated that communists can reach socialism or socialist goals through people’s mandate or through elections. Leader Bhandari had a beautiful vision for critical regional development of Nepal in the context of global politics.

After the 1990’s democratic movement in Nepal, Bhandari challenged the incumbent prime minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai in parliamentary elections from a constituency in Kathmandu and defeated him with a landslide victory. Madan Bhandari is remembered as a people’s leader of Nepal and as an influential speaker in South Asia.

Dasdhunga Accident:

It was the ill-fated day on 16th of March in 1993, when leader Bhandari died in a jeep accident at Dasdhunga in Chitwan. Central committee member of CPN-UML, Jiba Raj Ashrit, also died in the accident. But jeep driver Amar Lama survived the accident. Leader Bhandari was the General Secretary of CPN-UML then. Bhandari was traveling from Pokhara to Chitwan in order to attend a party meeting. The jeep was plunged into the Trishuli River but mysteriously Bhandari’s dead body was found in the Nararayani river bank after three days.

Bhandari’s death sent a shockwave throughout Nepal and is still a topic that people talk about and associate with many conspiracy theories. A majority of Nepalese don’t believe Bhandari’s death was due to an accident, but a political murder carried out possibly by foreign agents/powers. Many probe and investigation committees were formed in the wake of the event, but they were unsuccessful in finding out the exact cause of the accident. Bhandari’s driver, too, was murdered after about 10 years of the accident and it further intensified the conspiracy concerns in Nepal.

ICRC Investigation Report and Conspiracy:

Immediately after the incident, an investigation was led by Police Inspector Kiran Kunwar. When he was about to discover the conceivable murder conspiracy, Kunwar quits the investigation as the then prime minister of nepal Girija Prashad Koirala forced him to leave the case with personal threats. Apparently, the controversial accident of Madan Bhandari was a political treachery.

After several year, an investigation named ‘Mission Fire’ lead by Samir mukhiya was carried out under International Crime Research Center (ICRC). ICRC published a report unconcealing that the jeep accident on Dasdhunga in 1993 16th of March (2050  3rd  of Jestha) was the planned act of leader Bhandari’s murder. The Mission Fire report has revealed that Indian intelligence agency (RAW) and US intelligence agency (CIA) were jointly involved in the conspiracy. Station Head of the internal agency at Naxal, Sameer Mukhiya, said that a joint operation unit of CIA and RAW was behind the Madan Bhandari Assassination Case. It is indicated in the report that Indian and American governments were afraid of leader Bhandari not only as an influential communist leader in South Asia, but also he could be an obstacle to isolation of China. In the latter period, Bhandari and the then King Birendra were coming together in the issue of national sovereignty, which was being a headache to Indian and American governments.

The assassination case became more mysterious after the only survivor of the accident, driver Amar Lama, was shot dead in Kirtipur by Maoists during the insurgency. It is believed that Lama was a part of the conspiracy too. The ICRC report has discovered that to eliminate Madan Bhandari from the way CIA and RAW with the help of Prachanda made Amar Lama to spy on Bhandari and carried the planned operation of murder. The report also mentioned that Lama was blackmailing Maoists as he didn’t get any position as promised during the insurgency. From this bearing, it seems that Lama was killed by Maoists, since he was threatening them to speak out about the assassination case.

Powerful communist leader Comrade Madan Bhandari was murdered due to his powerful communist activity in South Asia. King Birendra and Madan Bhandari as a powerful unity was turning into a headache for India. Due to Bhandari’s activity India and the US weren’t able to increase interference in Asian nation. Comrade Madan Bhandari, on 2048, stated that the nation's power involves a good king, which has narrowed the view of foreign intelligence organizations. The unity of King Birendra and Madan Bhandari turning into stronger internal relationships which wasn’t agreeable to the proximity of India and the US.  King Birendra’s talk with Manmohan Adhikari about Bhandari’s mysterious grief and the assassination furthermore made their activities more stronger. It is unimaginable that how treacherous can a political conspiracy could be. It is noteworthy that the CIA, RAW and Maoist movements have acted a serious murder crime. It's also conspired that leaders like Prachanda, Baburam and many other are secret agents of RAW who gets lots of personal benefits form such activities. Due to the activities of these corrupts leaders the true identity and sovereignty of the nation is at great stake.

In present context, we can clearly see the influence of neighbouring country in every sector of the nation. Nepal’s fate could have taken crucial turn if great leaders like Madan Bhandari and King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah were not assassinated.
